Teach Us Too have been regular contributors to our Annual Inclusion Conference for a number of years. During this event, Undergraduate and Postgraduate students are encouraged to critically explore and examine conceptualisations such as inclusion, disability and Special Educational Needs.
During more recent on-line events, a thought provoking and informative presentation was viewed by students. During the viewing, students were encouraged to consider questions to ask during an immediate, virtual Q&A follow up session featuring Jonathan, Chantal Jonathan’s mother) and Sarah (Teach Us Too Trustee). Having access to the pre-recorded presentation also ensured that a wider audience of our students could be reached, and the follow up Q&A session was a particularly valuable opportunity for students to ask questions.
I am particularly pleased that Teach Us Too have encouraged our students to ask difficult and challenging questions!
Jonathan always offers powerful insights into his Educational experiences, which are accompanied by valuable, practical and pedagogical ideas to support but also challenge our next generation of professionals.
Teach Us Too's contribution is always a highlight of our Annual Inclusion Conference and we very much look forward to welcoming them back for future events.
